The El Cerrito Cabin has been a passion project since we 1st dreamed of sharing our property. We took experiences we have learned over the last 15 years in Terlingua and brought them to full circle with this cozy little cabin. We added windows on most walls to allow for the views of the landscape  and outside breeze come through. Lights and charging stations run off solar.  Water for the cabin is from a rain water catchment.  This will allow nice showers and the ability to wash hands and dishes. Cabin grey water is used to water the landscape.Reclaimed materials have also been used throughout, and cedar added to the interior walls.  This cabin has been built with being as efficient as possible being an off grid experience.  The sunrise deck on the front is a great place to enjoy coffee as you watch the sunrise, or a nice shady spot in the afternoon.
